I went to the Fireworks/Transit/The Swellers/Man Overboard show tonight and shot some video. This is Transit performing “Please Head North.” The video is of ehhhh quality because of the lighting in the venue. I’ll have more videos and pictures up tomorrow sometime. But goodnight for now.
Dire Wolf - Muzzle
This is Dire Wolf opening their set of their last show. They were a great band and are a bunch of great dudes. It’s always sad to see a Michigan hardcore band go, especially one that was this good but like James said last night, I truly believe Michigan hardcore is still on the rise. R.I.P. won’t ever R.I.P.

I’ve had this game on my radar for the past 3-4 years. I check back to the website every few months and get the same disappointing “under construction” message. While that message is still there today, I can take solace in the fact that the game is still breathing, made known with another announcement trailer. Dead Island was being made before this new kewl zombie craze, before the left 4 deads and walking deads and undead nightmares and all that other bullshit. I’m hoping the feeling I get when I watch this trailer can carry over into the actual game. I’ll probably kill myself from being so depressed, but it will be worth it.

This trailer…holy shit, I haven’t felt that moved or felt anything that deep for a videogame trailer since like when Halo 3 was first announced…god damn.
Dead Island is going to be so fucking good if they can translate what I felt for this trailer into the actual game.
